Aerospace engineering teaches you that everything is a system. Every component has a function. Every failure has a cause. At ITU, I worked on the SUNGUR UAV Project (Structural & Workshop Team, MATLAB, SolidWorks, ANSYS) and the RAKE Rescue Robot. I also co-led a major social responsibility project during the earthquake period — "3D Mutluluk Basalım" — where we organized STEM workshops for affected children, taught them to design their dream toys, and 3D-printed them. Using Büro API, I architected a Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipeline for Baykar Technologies' UAV assembly lines — ingesting technical documents, production procedures, and quality standards into a vector database, enabling engineers to query in natural language and receive precise, sourced answers in real time. Decision support acceleration and information retrieval time reduced by 70%. Turkey's drug interaction data existed — but it was locked in fragmented government databases, inaccessible to developers and patients. I unlocked it. I built a web scraping pipeline that extracted the entire SGK (Social Security Institution) drug database, then processed the raw data through NLP-based active ingredient analysis, compound-to-compound relationship mapping, and clinical risk scoring. This isn't just data engineering — it's the AI backbone of SafeDose. Turkey's first ML-powered drug interaction dataset, now running real-time safety alerts for real users. Baykar builds the Bayraktar TB2 — the UAV that changed modern warfare. Working inside their manufacturing operation was a masterclass in zero-tolerance engineering. I designed and deployed production-floor kiosk applications across live UAV assembly lines, creating the digital backbone that workers use for real-time task tracking and part logging. I digitalized multi-station workflows, built enhanced traceability systems so every component's journey is recorded, and led manufacturing analytics projects that integrated lean principles with data-driven root cause analysis. In this environment, "it probably works" is not an answer. I shipped systems that worked. Every time. Zero margin for error. 3D Mutluluk Basalım

February 2023. Turkey. 50,000+ lives lost. A generation of children displaced, frightened, and stripped of normalcy. We couldn't rebuild the cities. But we could give children something: their imagination made real. We launched "3D Mutluluk Basalım" — running STEM workshops for earthquake-affected children in Istanbul. We asked each child to draw the toy they'd always dreamed of. We taught them the basics of 3D design thinking. Then we took their drawings, modeled them, and 3D-printed their exact visions — handing them back as physical toys. For some children, it was the first time something they imagined became something they could hold. This project has nothing to do with AI. And everything to do with why I became an engineer. 2023 Türkiye depreminin ardından etkilenen çocuklara neşe getirmek için bir proje başlattık. İstanbul'da STEM atölyeleri düzenledik, çocuklara hayallerindeki oyuncakları çizdirdik, temel 3D tasarım öğrettik ve ardından 3D baskı alarak gerçek oyuncak olarak teslim ettik. İnsanlığın hizmetinde mühendislik.
